Dr. Shauna Mercer

About Me:

Dr. Shauna Mercer was born and raised in Mount Pearl, NL. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and Doctor of Medicine degrees at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She then moved to Alberta in 2008 for her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary. Dr. Mercer worked for several years in Calgary and the surrounding area doing a combination of Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine and prenatal care before joining the team at Richmond Square Medical Centre in 2016. Shauna enjoys doing yoga, skiing, biking and playing with her 2 young children.
