What Is Hyperhidrosis?

Excessive sweating not related to heat or exercise. Hyperhidrosis is your eccrine glands activate and produce sweat more often than when your body is too hot. Heavy sweating can disrupt a persons life.

If you are also have the following: heavy sweating with dizziness, pain in the chest, throat, jaw, arms, shoulders or throat, or cold skin and a rapid pulse please seek immediate medical attention.

Complications of hyperhidrosis

People who sweat a lot are more prone to skin infections.

Injection Treatment

Botulinum toxin type A (Botox)

Botox is more than 90% effective as a hyperhidrosis treatment.

Injections can be painful, depending on the person some may require local anesthesia.
